Description
Luvocom® 3F PPS CF 9938 BK Filament is a Polyphenylene sulfide, linear with 15% added carbon fibers, and is known for it's heat and chemical resistance. Below 200 °C the material doesn't dissolve in any solvent. This particular high performance polymer grade is tailored made for the 3D printing industry to match the injection molding strength requirements and focusing on the serial production of end-parts. The filament can be used on conventional FFF / FDM 3D printing systems due to the enhanced printability, improved layer bonding and the unrequired use of a heated chamber. This 3D4Makers PPS CF filament features the following properties:
- Outstanding chemical and thermal resistance
- Strong, stiff and lightweight
- Dimensional stability
- Inherently flame retardant
- UN-ECE R.118.03 (fire behaviour of materials in buses)
- UL94 Vertical Burning Test
- EN 45545 (fire behaviour of materials in trains)
- ISO 4589-2 OI (oxygen Index) R22 + R23 - HL1, HL2, HL3
- ISO 5659-2 Ds (smoke density) R22 + R23 - HL1, HL2, HL3
- AFNOR NF CIT (gas toxicity) R22 - HL1, R23 - HL1, HL2, HL3

Printer recommendations
Description | Value |
---|---|
Printer nozzle temperature | 310 - 340°C |
Heated bed temperature | 80 - 100°C |
Print Speed | 20 - 50 mm/s |
Bed Adhesion |
Magigoo HT on glass or a PEI Sheet |
Pre drying recommendations | 120°C, 4 - 6 hours |
Extra | We advise to use a adapted nozzle (>0.5mm) for carbon filled filaments |
To get the best results while printing we advise you to keep the 3D printer in a room where there is hardly any draft and/or temperature fluctuations. When the 3D printer is not being used it is important to keep filament in a bag and stored in a cool, dry and dark place until it is used again.
